Frequently asked questions about pricing
Why does the price rise from €1.35 to €1.64 between €100 and €101?
Up to a declared value of €100, the price is a flat fee of €1.35 that covers the fixed cost of processing a shipment. Above that, the price becomes proportional to the value. This is the only threshold effect in the pricing table.
Does the price change with the carrier or destination?
No. The pricing table is the same for all carriers and all covered destinations. Only the declared value changes the price.
Does the price change with the parcel contents?
No, the price does not depend on the type of goods. However, some goods cannot be insured, and we check this before payment. View cover and exclusions.
When am I charged?
When you purchase cover, before shipping. One payment per parcel, with no subscription or recurring charge.
Are there extra fees at payment?
No. The amount shown by the simulator is the amount charged.
What happens above a declared value of €100,000?
€100,000 is the limit per shipment. Above this amount, cover requires prior review before shipping. Contact us.
Is the estimate a quote?
No, it is an estimate. The final price is confirmed when cover is purchased, once the parcel's eligibility has been checked.
